The New Dumbing: A College Epidemic

We are in the middle of a major cultural shift. It is a change in fundamental values and an alteration in the relative influence of different ideological groups.

It could be argued that this change began in the 1960s. But the roots of this groundswell have been developing for centuries. There are hints of it throughout American history. One example that comes to mind is the 1871 proclamation of Albert Pike. He predicted World War One and Two. He also said that the group he represents controls the religion of Islam, and that Islam would be used as a hammer to destroy the west.

The 1960s was seen as a time of uprising for those who had had enough of war, of the overgrowth of the police state and ossified ways of thinking. The feminist movement achieved its goal, but at the same time, it played directly into the hands of the establishment by delivering more taxable funds into the coffers of the Federal Reserve.

The Left has achieved much of its goals. Women are generally expected to work as hard as men, gays have the freedom to marry, and abortion is legal. But this is not enough for them. Now, they demand rights for pedophiles. They demand that conservative speakers be “de-platformed,” which means taking away their right to speak. And they advocate violence as a response to speech.

This is the dumbing down of the modern college student, and the results are shocking. Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report has more on the de-education of college students.
