The Rise of Cultural Marxism Explained

Here in the United States, the word “liberal” has come to mean left-leaning, socially permissive, pro-taxation, pro-redistribution, Democrat and so on. Lately, it’s also come to mean pro-war. It’s generally accepted that Hillary Clinton would have taken us to war with Russia. Now, we may be on that path no matter what — but at least there’s hope of peace.

But this is not what true classical liberalism is about at all. Real, traditional liberalism is about freedom. It’s about the value and the sovereignty of the individual. Liberalism is about free speech, open debate, the battleground of ideas as the bulwark against conflict and violence — as the mechanism by which we maintain a free and orderly society.

People who call themselves liberal in the United States today are nothing like this. They push fear between the races and hatred between the sexes. They advocate for the theft of your property to give it to those from whom they hope to gain the permission to rule. They ignore hideous human rights violations against women, gays, blacks, and others as they take place in other parts of the world while claiming to champion these groups here. They are power hungry liars.

And now they are threatening to drive us into war, again.

But how did we come this far? How did true liberalism become the monstrosity that is so-called progressivism? How did liberty take a back seat to totalitarian social Marxism?

Here’s Pat Condell, with his appraisal of the situation.
