Ann Coulter Backs Trump Tariffs, Says China Is “Eating Our Lunch”

Conservative icon Ann Coulter takes political cowardice to task, backing Pres. Trump’s tariffs designed to push back against unequal trade with countries such as China in a Conservative Citizen YouTube video.

Coulter, the syndicated columnist, public speaker and attorney who did work in the Paula Jones case against former Pres. Bill Clinton, mocks what she calls a “raging hysteria” over standing tall against other countries that tax American imports while the U.S. continues weak free trade practices.

Libertarian-leaning politicians and others appear frightened that a trade war could send the price of goods Americans purchase through the roof. Coulter, laughing at the notion the economic sky will fall, highlights Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’ example. Ross apparently walked into a 7/11, bought a Campbell Soup product, held it up during and interview and noted that the amount of steel tallied about 3-cents.

The life-long Republican goes on to discuss the culture change that is shocking the Washington “Swamp” and explains how Pres. Trump’s America First policies have opened her eyes to the systemic failures that plague both parties, even the GOP her entire family supports. Always brash and outspoken, Coulter is on point with stinging analysis and little-known facts about everything from public policy to new revelations about the Parkland, Florida, high school shooter.
