At this point, we’re really starting to wonder if the Democrats are running out of ideas in their quest to realize their impeachment fantasies — because they’re starting to repeat themselves.
They tried pointing to President Donald Trump’s less than reputable past with members of the fairer sex. That didn’t work, and just about everyone who voted for him was fully aware of his personal misgivings beforehand. They tried screaming “Russia!” until they were all blue in the face, but this didn’t work either. To be fair, that process is still ongoing, but it’s pretty clear that Trump himself is safe.
Then, there are the books. Yes, the constant rotating table of supposedly explosive inside information that reveals the White House to be the actual Fortress of Doom from The Justice Friends cartoon. James Comey put one out, and nobody really cared a week after its release. Now, another writer is trying his hand at the same failed formula, the reception seems to be generally the same.
