AOC Caught Breaking Campaign Finance Laws…AGAIN
Did you ever meet someone or get into a relationship with someone who believed that no matter what they did they could do no harm? You would probably have to be related to or in a relationship with such a person to know if they were that way or not. But take our word for it that it’s very, VERY annoying.
Well, we kind of get the impression that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of these people. She seems to have such a high opinion of herself and is so sure of the righteousness of her intentions that she just can’t understand how anything she might advocate for, or whatever law she breaks that nothing could possibly be wrong with her ideas or behavior.
But, there is something wrong with her behavior. Besides the fact that socialism has always led to a totalitarian nightmare, AOC has actually broken a number of campaign finance laws.
According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, “Campaign finance laws are intended to reduce the potential for corruption, or the appearance of corruption, in elections.”
The reason we have to regulate how political candidates obtain money to fund their campaigns is so that when they either do or no not become elected officials, the voting public still has reasonable cause to believe that the election was fair and unbiased.
Well, AOC has violated these laws twice now, and it seems like no one cares. But watch out, if the Dems suddenly get their pajamas in a twist, AOC could do time.
