California Law Would Prohibit the Sale of the Bible

When a government begins to value political correctness over Constitutional rights, the results can be traumatic. In California, a new bill is making its way through the state assembly floor that would ban the selling of any book that speaks negatively toward homosexuality – including the Bible.

The language of the bill is written so as to outlaw any resource, book, service, or speech that is sold on the market which attempts to help homosexuals overcome same-sex desires. It’s being painted by its proponents as a way to outlaw conversion therapy in the state of California, however, the bill’s actual contents are much broader.

According to Randy Thomasson from SaveCalifornia.com, “Well, you could see this law going into effect. A church bookstore selling the Bible, of course, selling a book about marriage or sexual purity or overcoming homosexuality or overcoming trans-sexuality. You could see a member of the public or even a member of the state government coming and saying, ‘Hey, that’s illegal.”

It is laws such as this that present a danger to freedom of religion unlike any we have ever seen in our nation’s history. To learn more about this shocking bill and what it might mean for Christians in California if it passes, be sure to check out the video below.
