For reasons that largely remain unknown, the left has waged a war on the ideals and moral values that most all Americans once held to be true. The sanctity of life, the value of the family unit, the importance of religion, and much more have all become the target of the modern left.
Now, the left has set its crosshairs on the importance of a faithful and committed marriage, with CNN publishing a piece that says open marriages are a “healthy” choice for married couples to make.
For those unfamiliar with the practice, an open marriage is one in which both people are allowed to openly cheat on their spouse without any consequence. This is a practice that is obviously not healthy in both the physical sense of contracting and spreading STDs and in the emotional sense of destroying the very foundation that a marriage is built on. Yet, CNN argues that having an open marriage is a great way to inject some fun and excitement into your relationship with your spouse.
The moral compass of the modern left has become so terribly askew that even the practice of openly cheating on your spouse is now championed as a righteous and morally acceptable choice. From the fall of Rome to the current decline of Europe, history has shown that when the morals of a nation crumble, the fall of the nation itself is almost always soon to follow.
