Did Baby Boomers Ruin America?

Great men create good times. Good times make mediocre men, and mediocre men make bad times. To remedy the bad times created by mediocre men, great men are necessary. Great men are created by opposition.

The dream of the left is one where men and women do not strive for greatness. It is a vision of mediocrity where people believe what their college professors tell them, what their appointed experts tell them — it is a vision of passive consumerism. They envision a world where no one owns anything, and the ruling elite is dynastic — at least as long as they can resist the next coup anyway.

There is no better proof of our opening maxim than the baby boomer generation. They were a generation born from the strength and immeasurable grit of the WWII generation. The men and women who made America’s victory in WWII possible were hearty, driven, and serious. They were people with an intense sense of loyalty to family and country. They loved their children, they knew their neighbors — and despite the horrors of WWII, they were happier than us.

Well, as it goes, the strength of the Greatest Generation was lost on the Baby Boomer Generation.
