Inside the “Woke” Leftist’s Disdain for the Regular Person

The Leftist mind is a supremacist mind. It is a mentality that trusts like-minded thought and authority without question. It is a way of thinking that assumes the ways of the past are always inferior, and that the people of the past should be held to the same moral standard as we are today.

The Leftist mind respects ideas, it respects culture, style, art, and theory. These are fine things that deserve respect. But it does not respect fact. For the Leftist mind, facts are like a mountain landscape. If a given mountain benefits them, they use it. If it gets in their way, they dynamite it. It’s a fine way to build a highway, but not a good way to devise a world-view.

Combine their willingness to trust like-minded thought and authority without question with their willingness to dispense with fact as if it were opinion — and what you get is totalitarianism. It’s a formula that works out the same every time the Leftist mind obtains the power of the State.

But most importantly, the Leftist mind is a hateful mind. It is the ferocious emotionality of an infant married to the eloquence of an artist. Nowhere has this been more apparent than in the disdain American coastal leftists feel for the working class, the religious, and the people living in “fly-over states.” They hate them, they hate you- and they are more than happy to let you know it.
