Penn and Teller Explain the Second Amendment to Gun Control Supporters

Politically active conservative celebrities are few and far between compared to their liberal counterparts. However, world-famous magicians Penn and Teller have been using their platform to promote conservative and libertarian ideals long before celebrities becoming politically active became such a trend.

Now that the left is pushing for the erosion of one of our most fundamental rights – the right for a free people to keep and bear arms – Penn and Teller have used their platform for political purposes once again, this time to explain the importance and meaning of the Second Amendment to those who seem so determined to misconstrue its very plain and simple language.

The truth is that there is no ambiguity to the Second Amendment, no room for misinterpretation. Professional magicians such as Penn and Teller understand that there isn’t enough sleight of hand or misdirection in the world to interpret the Second Amendment in any way but to mean that the American people’s right to bear arms is a fundamental, God-given right that no government could take away even if they had the power and motivation to do so.
