Philadelphia is now Blocking ICE from its Arrest Database

The liberal crusade against the men and women who dedicate their lives to enforcing our nation’s vital immigration laws continues, as the city of Philadelphia has now agreed to prohibit ICE from accessing their arrest database.

Philadelphia is one of nearly 500 “sanctuary cities” in the United States, meaning that they ignore federal law and provide shelter to illegal immigrants. Philadelphia, however, is taking these measures a step further in their decision in their decision to block ICE from their arrest database, preventing the agency from being able to effectively deport illegal immigrants who have committed crimes within the city.

The worst part of this action isn’t the needless affront to ICE, but rather the fact that it makes the city of “brotherly love” a more dangerous place to call home. The illegal immigrants who are in Philadelphia’s arrest database are not innocent dreamers whose only crime is crossing the border, but rather criminals who have been arrested for any number of other crimes such as murder, rape, drug trafficking, and more. The illegal immigrants who end up in an arrest database are the ones who need to be deported the most and the ones that ICE primarily focuses on. In Philadelphia, though, these criminals will now be able to carry on with their crimes without fear of deportation.
