Scholar Warns U.S. Colleges are Breeding Hatred

There’s a serious issue festering within our higher education system in the United States. While the fact that our education is lagging behind numerous other countries is troubling enough, what’s even more troubling is the amount of hate and intolerance that colleges in the USA have been breeding.

Today, students across the country – from those attending a small-town community college to ivy league students at Harvard and Yale – are taught by their professors that any speech or idea outside of the far-left worldview that has been ground into them constitutes an intolerable act of violence. By viewing speech and opposing ideas as legitimate violence, students are taught to deeply hate and lash out against anyone that they disagree with.

Tolerance of identity may still be a cornerstone of the modern left, but tolerance of ideas is dead and gone. Nowhere is this more clear than in the US higher education system. Conservative students attending liberal colleges must legitimately fear for their academic careers and even their own safety if they are open about their views. Meanwhile, far-left students have their views coddled and are taught that any challenge against those views should be met with hatred and intolerance. The result is that US colleges have become a breeding ground for hate, and the consequences to our nation and its ideals could be dire.
