Should Justice Kavanaugh Sue His False Accusers?

Now that the dust has cleared, the #MeToo movement has been officially demolished, and Justice Brett Kavanaugh has his rightful seat as a Justice of the Supreme Court, we can begin to ask some real questions.

Should Kavanaugh set a standard by suing his false accusers?

Kavanaugh would know better than anyone – he has quite a great case. He also has the backing of many women, hundreds of whom came out to support him during the sham hearings and the pitiful testimony of Christine Blasey Blah Ford.

Perhaps we as a country should make it known that false accusations against people of great character will not be taken lightly. Although Ford and the other women who accused Kavanaugh tried to play the victim, it is Kavanaugh who is actually the victim.

Justice Kavanaugh represents everyone who has ever been falsely accused of a serious crime. The process of “clearing one’s name” is an arduous one. Even after one’s name is “cleared,” the remnants of the process remain.

To clear your name, it takes money, time and resources. You have to call in favors and use up political capital with your friends and community members. You can’t go to work with a clear head. People look at you sideways and may even be bold enough to ask questions. They assume. They talk. You are discriminated against.

All of this happened to Kavanaugh, even though he is a high ranking member of the judicial branch. How much more could it happen to the common man if no precedent is set against it?
