We don’t need to tell you that the far left is dangerous. They themselves have made it abundantly obvious that they hate people who disagree with them, and that they want to destroy their ideological opponents.
But the fact is, we have to continue to share the world with people who would like to invoke the power of authority to steal from us. They will do it by force if necessary. They will do whatever it takes in order to offer handouts to people who do not know or have the inclination to invest in their own futures. The voters do it because they have been twisted by guilt. The politicians do it because they are owned by ruthless powers.
Now, that last paragraph is based on a historical understanding of how the Democratic Party works in this country. But if an American liberal (read leftist) encountered it, they would say that it is code for racism. And that is how they get around having to listen to your arguments.
They believe you are immoral. They believe listening to you is immoral. Therefore, they believe that you are some kind of inhuman monster. For all these reasons, leftists are dangerous.
In order to live with them, you must be alert, energetic, intensely cautious, and you must be absolutely impeccable in the way you live your life. You must give the accuser no foothold of perceived guilt to latch onto.
But it’s worth asking, just how safe is it to be open about your politics?
