The witch hunt against President Trump may finally be on the verge of coming to an end. Mueller’s investigation seems to have stalled without producing any evidence that the president colluded with Russia during the 2016 election. Meanwhile, Trump is currently in the process of declassifying key FISA documents that will finally shed light on the abuse and bias that has taken place thus far in this investigation.
The mainstream media, however, isn’t giving up. They’ve bet big on the Russian collusion story, and it’s a story that has been in the media’s spotlight for almost two years now. Even with the narrative crumbling around them, the media still continues to push the Russian collusion story at every single opportunity.
When the attempts to prove that Trump colluded with Russia inevitably fail, the media will be forced to pick up what few pieces of their trustworthiness still remain. Until then, though, they are doubling down and going all-in to bring down Trump and the GOP. At this point, simply admitting that they were wrong isn’t an option.
