Trump Might Have a Serious Problem With Jeff Sessions

If there’s one thing that President Trump has made abundantly clear, it’s that he is no fan of his attorney general’s decision to recuse himself from Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Trump has taken aim at Jeff Sessions multiple times before for a wide range of reasons, but on September 3 he targeted the nation’s top cop yet again, this time tweeting out, “Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff……”

The two Republican congressmen that Trump is referring to are New York Rep. Chris Collins and California Rep. Duncan Hunter. Collins was indicted by the DOJ on charges of insider trading while Hunter was indicted by the DOJ on charges of misusing campaign funds. Now that the DOJ has brought charges against them, their odds of winning the upcoming midterms have taken a serious hit.
