Tucker Carlson Explains Why Changes at Facebook Hurt Conservative Media

Today, about half of the country uses Facebook as their primary source of news. While this is concerning in and of itself, what’s far more concerning is the fact that Facebook is in total control of what is published on their platform. What may feel like a free and open platform is actually under the thumb of Facebook executives – and they’re doing everything they can to censor conservative content.

Recent changes to Facebook’s algorithms have severely damaged the traffic for conservative sites such a Breitbart, Daily Caller, and others who rely on Facebook to reach their audience. Meanwhile, news sites such as the Washington Post and CNN have gone unaffected by the changes. Facebook executives are adamant that the new algorithms were not designed with any sort of bias, yet the results of them being implemented tell a different story.

Online censorship is one of the most important battles we must face in modern times. If complete control of what people read and see is handed over to just a few companies such as Facebook and Google, the results could be devastating.
