Why are American Feminists Promoting Oppression in Iran?
One of the first things that women from Syria and other similarly oppressive areas will do when liberated is rip off their hijab. They do this because the hijab is seen as a symbol of the oppression they have lived under. Why then would American feminists like the hijab and in fact use it to symbolize and promote their organization? That is a great question, one that Paul Joseph Watson tackled in a recent video you can view here.
Going back more than 100 years, the very first Arabian feminist group made history by “discarding their veils” or hijabs. Conversely, today, American feminists who claim they care about women’s rights are lobbying to include a hijab-wearing Olympic athlete. They have also ensured young girls consider the oppressive garment normal by introducing a hijab-wearing Barbie.
Presently, Iranian women are fighting their oppressive existence and getting beaten/lashed in the streets, all for removing their covering in public. The women of Iran who are fighting every day against tyranny are in fact the true feminists — not the make believers on the left who call themselves feminists.
In fact, American feminists aren’t even supporting their sisters in Iranian by Tweeting about the terrifying situation they are experiencing. It makes you wonder where are the marches that demand justice for them? Nowhere. They are being ignored. Perhaps this is because supporting truly heroic women who are taking their lives into their hands each and every day makes the “oppression” American women claim to live with on a daily basis seem trivial at most.
