CNN Refuses to Redact a Story that has Been Proven False

CNN usually does a fairly decent job covering their tracks when spreading fake news, making it difficult for conservatives to prove beyond any doubt that their reporting is false. However, the latest “bombshell story” that CNN swore would be the end of Trump’s presidency has completely fallen apart around them – so much so that even other liberal media outlets have admitted that the story was flawed. CNN, though, is still standing by their reporting, refusing to redact a story that has been proven entirely false.

The story in question was one where CNN reported that Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen had claimed that President Trump knew in advance about a 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian attorney. The story would have major ramifications for the president – if it were true.

Once the story blew up, though, Lanny Davis – Cohen’s attorney and CNN’s source for the report – came out and said that he was wrong to insinuate that there was proof that Trump knew about the meeting and that neither he nor Cohen had any evidence that this was true.

In spite of this revelation, though, CNN has stuck by their reporting to the bitter end, refusing to amend or redact the story even though every other liberal outlet that picked it up has done so. CNN may feel as if they are saving face by sticking to their proven-false reporting, but the reality is that they are digging their hole even deeper.
